Google has profitable Q3

October 16, 2008

Google this afternoon released its Q3 earnings during a conference call with investors. This quarter, which ended September 30, the leader in search market share made $1.35 billion or $4.24 per share. This represents a 26% increase from this point last year when the company made $1.07 billion, or $3.38 per share.
 

Group Publishing turns to Dovetail for database

October 16, 2008

Group Publishing Inc., publisher of Children's Ministry, Rev and Group magazines, as well as other Christian ministry resources, has tapped Dovetail to build and manage its marketing database. Dovetail helped Group build a single database from more than half a dozen disparate data sources, including fulfillment company lists, event registrations and vendors.
 

EBay announces financial results

October 16, 2008

EBay announced this week third quarter revenue of $2.12 billion, up $228 million from the same period last year. The online auction company reported a net income of $492 million, or $0.38 per share. However, the company said gross merchandise volume slipped by 1% during the quarter.
 

Go Momma launches for upscale moms

October 16, 2008

Times Targeted Media, an internal division of the St. Petersburg Times, has launched Go Momma magazine. Go Momma, aimed at affluent moms with children under the age of 15, was mailed to 30,000 targeted households in the Tampa Bay, FL area earlier this week.
