Trade magazine publisher UP Media Group has planned a November trade show, using ON24's recently launched Virtual Show technology. Virtual Show offers a customizable online venue for trade shows and conferences that tracks individual attendees — providing sponsor companies with data on document downloads, presentations viewed, participation in discussions and responses to polls.
 

National Geographic continues relationship with Epsilon

National Geographic Society has extended its marketing and retention contract with Epsilon to cover several more years. Per the agreement, Epsilon will host and manage e-mail communications and provide database services for National Geographic Society through 2011.
 

Quick & Simple shutters its print

Hearst Magazines has decided to discontinue publishing the print version of its women's weekly Quick & Simple effective with its July 29 issue. A statement released by Hearst Magazines said, "due to market conditions and significantly escalating paper costs, it has become increasingly challenging to produce a low-cost, low-priced weekly."
