Google has released a new media-planning tool called Ad Planner that connects advertisers with publishers. Wayne Lin, business product manager at Google, spoke of the tool's benefits at the ARF's Audience Measurement 3.0 today in New York.

Sprint Nextel is expanding its Business Premier customer loyalty program to include all small and midsize business customers. The program previously applied only to Nextel customers, but a merger between the companies — and the movement of all customers to a single billing platform — now makes it possible for Sprint customers to receive the Business Premier perks.
 

Datran Media acquires Top-Colleges.com

Online marketing firm Datran Media has acquired Top-Colleges.com, formerly a division of AffiliateCrew.com, for an undisclosed amount. New York-based Datran, an e-mail service provider, ad networking and database firm, acquired the higher education search engine in an effort to further develop its lead generation offerings.
 

Condé Nast taps Acxiom for integrated marketing
