American Eagle and Nishi-Nippon tap Teradata

Teradata Corp. has deployed some of its data warehousing and analytics offerings for American Eagle Outfitters and Japan's Nishi-Nippon Railroad. American Eagle, a clothing retailer that operates more than 900 stores in North America, is implementing Teradata CRM in a move to create personalized, real-time dialogues with customers.
 

NextAction offers new file optimization system

NextAction, a provider of cooperative data services, has launched NextOp Mailfile Optimization, in a move to help multichannel retailers better identify key prospects. NextOp leverages NextAction's SKU-level database and proprietary analytics engine to identify and suppress unprofitable prospects.
 

InfoUSA gets second warning from NASDAQ, hearing scheduled

List and database giant InfoUSA has received a warning from the NASDAQ stock market, stating that the company's common stock is subject to delisting because it has not yet filed its Form 10-Q for the period ending March 31.
 

Chrysler executives not phoning it in with CRM

Chrysler Corp. is integrating top executives into its CRM strategy with a new customer-calling program that kicks off next week. The "Customer First Call Campaign," spearheaded by Chrysler chairman and CEO Bob Nardelli, asks Chrysler's 300 top executives to make customer service calls to people who have purchased a Chrysler, Jeep or Dodge vehicle in the last 60 days.
