Sagent to Integrate SAS Software in Business Intelligence Solutions
Terms of the agreement call for Sagent to integrate and license SAS analytic and customer relationship management software within its business intelligence solutions. According to Sagent, the target market for these SAS-enhanced offerings will be mid-market companies with revenues up to $750 million. Included in that market are credit unions, community banks, and select property and casualty insurance companies.
Sagent also will offer SAS' data mining and CRM software as part of its business intelligence solution. Sagent customers will receive a broader choice of business intelligence products and will be able to improve target marketing, increase customer loyalty and retention, and upsell and cross-sell to their best customers.
This agreement covers North America, South America and Europe and includes development assistance to ensure integration of Enterprise Miner and other SAS solutions with Sagent's suite of products. Sagent's sales force will be trained to position and support the new SAS-enhanced offerings. Special pricing structures will be announced when the new integrated offerings become available during the first half of this year.
