Insert Media Day Sets Location, Agenda
The event aims to encourage more widespread recognition and use of inserts as a major direct mail medium and to raise the status of inserts within the direct marketing industry.
The ARM Council embarked on a sort of rebranding effort for the alternative media industry in October at the fall DMA show. It held an open forum to muster support for changing the catch-all name for package inserts, bind-ins, blow-ins and statement stuffers from alternative media to something signifying that these marketing practices are not "alternative" but mainstream.
