Global direct response marketing and advertising agency Blagman Media International last week acquired Mullinger Media & Communications, a middle eastern publishing and public relations company. Mullinger Media plans to launch the first and largest direct mail lifestyle magazine to circulate in the Middle East in April. The magazine, published in both Arabic and English, will have an initial circulation of nearly 400,000 in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Oman and Qatar. The company expects the magazine to double its circulation within months due to the enormous wealth and voracious spending habits of the region. Mullinger Media is also developing several other direct response programs via both the Internet and print.
