Aliant Telecom Picks ICT Group for Inbound Support
The contract is valued at $6 million. ICT Group, Langhorne, PA, is providing technical and help-desk support for Aliant Telecom's dial-up Internet access subscribers in the Atlantic region of Canada.
Approximately 90 telephone representatives working at ICT Group's contact center in the Canadian town of Miramichi, New Brunswick, are providing service to Aliant Telecom customers in both French and English. Additional staff may be added to the program later.
Based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Aliant Telecom has approximately 10,000 employees in Canada. Other ICT Group clients include AOL, Capital One and Pfizer.
