The publication Aug. 15 will give a quiz to applicants based on articles and news stories published within the past year. Replies are due by Aug. 31.

The first place winner will receive a $5,000 scholarship, second place $3,000 and third place $2,000.

In the event of a tie, the amount will be divided between the two recipients.
