News Byte: WPP Units Join Forces on New Data-Driven Agency

WPP's Wunderman direct marketing unit and its MEC media division today officially spawned Choreograph, a joint venture adding data analysis to the mix in pursuit of more efficient real-time marketing efforts.
Wunderman Chief Innovation & Marketing Officer Gurval Caer will lead the new agency as president, with a goal of saving clients time and money while better serving consumers with more targeted and timely appeals. “Marketers are struggling to keep pace with consumers' behaviors,” he said in a statement. “By combining media, creative, and data, we can better engage the right consumers.”
Jim Sink, VP, global partners, at Adobe systems said he looked forward to partnering with Choreograph because the founding team members “share our vision to connect paid, owned, and earned media.”
