News Byte: The Alesco Group acquires Statlistics

What is it: The Alesco Group has announced its acquisition of Statlistics, a list brokerage and management company. Alesco already operates such brands as Alesco Data and Response Solutions. Statlistics' list management includes B2B and B2C titles from U.S. publishers across a variety of verticals. Alesco will retain the Statlistics brand; owners Donna Buckner and John Papalia will join the Alesco leadership team.

WIIFM: The addition of Statlistics extends and enriches Alesco's multichannel data offering. Alesco customers will be able to  leverage data from all of its brands to best suit their specific needs and goals.

Who's talking: “The combination of Stalistics with our existing brands will provide clients with a valuable opportunity as we expand and diversify our portfolio of data offerings,” Alesco Group CEO Michael Sklorenko said in a statement.
