New heads of Publicis North America, Bruce and Giannino

Rearranging the house as the final details are worked out in its holding company's merger with Omnicom, Publicis Worldwide today announced the creation of Publicis North America, a new “mega-region” comprising its USA and Canada units.

Susan Gianinno has been named chairman of the newly formed region and Andrew Bruce will serve as CEO. Giannino has led the U.S. unit since 2002 and will concentrate on key global and regional initiatives. Bruce was the CEO of the Canadian region and will handle operations of Publicis Kaplan Thaler, Publicis Groupe's largest North American operation.

Both will report to recently appointed CEO of Publicis Worldwide Arthur Sadoun, who commented in a press release that “the new mega-region will allow us to accelerate and provide even better opportunities for our clients.”
