News Byte: Nielsen Appoints New Marketing Leadership

Consumer insights company Nielsen recently announced the appointments of Marcy Shinder and Greg Daniel as its new CMO and chief digital marketing officer, respectively.

As global CMO, Shinder will oversee marketing strategy and brand evolution across the organization. Shinder has held a leadership role in Nielsen's marketing since she came on board in 2011. She previously held executive marketing positions at American Express for more than 20 years.

Daniel is a 15-year digital marketing veteran. Previously, he served as SVP of digital experience and global marketing for Nielsen, and held senior marketing positions at American Express. He will now head up global development and implementation of marketing and communication strategies across the company's digital channels.
