News Byte: Marketo To Acquire Insightera
Automation: the way forward.
Marketo announced today that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Insightera, a real-time personalization platform for websites and mobile applications. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Marketo characterized the move as adding a needed enhancement to its cloud-based marketing automation platform.
“By augmenting our marketing automation with Insightera's real-time personalization, we are delivering on our vision to unify disparate channels and create timely individualized relationships,” said Marketo President and CEO Phil Fernandez in a press release.
Additionally, Marketo said that Insightera's Israeli office will form the foundation of an innovation center focusing on Big Data and predictive analytics.
