Marketo today announced that it will release the Dialog Edition, an email automation solution for reformed batch-and-blasters who want to make email communications more relevant and create more loyal customer bases through the channel.
The company reports that the program enables marketers to begin personalizing emails from the moment of address capture with no need for additional resources or manual intervention. Dialog Edition also tracks which content has been sent to which people to ensure they aren't inundated with emails or receive the same content twice.
Marketo claims marketers can, in minutes, set up campaigns that trigger emails based on web or social media interaction. The Dialog Edition works off a database that stores demographic and behavioral information about customers and drives more accurate segmentations.
“Consumers are drowning in marketing messages,” says Marketo CMO Sanjay Dholakia. “Marketers know they need to break through this noise, but their efforts to do so are often limited by email service providers, which force marketers into a world of impersonal, batch communications. The Dialog Edition empowers email marketers to build automated campaigns that create long-term, personal relationships.”
Dialog Edition becomes available on October 25.
