News Byte: Adobe Combines Experience Manager and Publishing Suite
Adobe announces publishing improvements.
Adobe announced it has integrated its digital publishing platform Adobe Digital Publishing Suite (DPS) and its Web experience solution Adobe Experience Manager.
This combination will make it easier for publishers to create content apps such as annual reports, digital magazines, or sales tools. The combined DPS and Experience Manager will allow companies to author content faster, decrease publishing costs, and maintain brand consistency across channels. Additionally, the combined applications will offer full analytics support through Adobe Analytics.
Publishers will have the ability to use DPS to create custom content through Adobe InDesign or through the advanced templates of Experience Manager.
“DPS and Adobe Experience Manager make it significantly easier for publishers and brands to produce consistent, rich content for customers on mobile and the Web,” Adobe's head of digital publishing Nick Bogaty said in a statement. “The combination of our tools will arm savvy CMOs with a tremendous advantage, helping save time and money and providing a competitive brand advantage.”
