Newport News Selects ClickAction for E-Mail Marketing Management

ClickAction, Palo Alto, CA, said yesterday it will manage all e-mail marketing initiatives for Newport News, a direct marketer of women's apparel and home decor. Newport News, a wholly owned subsidiary of Spiegel Group Retailers, launched its site in June 1999 and had been doing its e-mail marketing internally. The company had net sales of $411 million in 1999 and offered its product online and in a catalog.
