Newport News Puts Distribution Center Up for Sale
As part of the ongoing reorganization at The Spiegel Group, Newport News Inc. plans to sell a distribution center in Newport News, VA, and about 46 acres of vacant land in Hampton, VA.Keen Realty LLC and CB Richard Ellis have been retained for the sale. Offers to purchase the facility and/or land are due by Nov. 19, while offers to lease significant blocks of the distribution center are due by Nov. 5.
Spiegel Inc. filed for Chapter 11 reorganization in March. Transactions regarding the facility and land are subject to bankruptcy court approval.
