Newgistics offers parcel return service clients online pickup option

Newgistics, a returns management services provider, announced today that its clients will now offer consumers free carrier pickup service by the US Postal Service for any parcel return service package.

Consumers can now request carrier pickup online. “This allows direct marketers and retailers to give another level of service to their customers without charging them, and makes the return process even more hassle free and convenient,” said Newgistics CFO Mike Twomey.

Newgistics clients are able to take advantage of Newgistics' status as an approved third-party reverse logistics provider, and offer these services to consumers, he said.

Parcel return service is a USPS service that offers businesses and retailers who ship directly to consumers a way to return items using preprinted, pre-paid return labels. .

Newgistics clients include direct marketers and retailers such as Neiman Marcus and Abercrombie & Fitch.
