Newark InOne Starts eProcurement Site
Business-to-business electronics merchant Newark InOne launched a Web site last week that offers its eProcurement customers access to 2.1 million products and improved search and navigation capabilities.Newark InOne sells audiovisual equipment, electrical supplies, office supplies, tools and other items to design, maintenance and purchasing customers, including federal government customers. It is a division of Premier Farnell plc, which trades in 100 countries and has a database of 2 million customer contacts.
The new site, created in conjunction with Endeca, lets users compare and sort products by hundreds of desirable dimensions, attributes or criteria, giving eProcurement customers a similar experience to users of Newark InOne's general market Web site, newarkinone.com.
