New survey on DTC marketing in healthcare

Advamed, a trade assocation for medical technology companies, recently completed a survey with Porter Novelli about direct-to-consumer marketing in the sector.

Ninety-four percent said that their marketing campaigns are educationally focused, including patient brochures and other print channels. Social media is still nascent in patient marketing according to the survey, but I've found it's growing in popularity when marketers look to reach doctors.
