Publicis Managed Markets, a Publicis Healthcare Communications Group company, has agreed to use VBioPharma Managed Markets Edition - the new customer relationship management (CRM) application by Verticals onDemand - that is designed to meet the needs of national and regional account directors working with managed markets accounts.

VBioPharma Managed Markets Edition is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) CRM application for managed markets and comes pre-populated with critical formulary data that is kept up-to-date using Web services.

VBioPharma Managed Markets Edition includes detailed contact, account, and activity management modules as well as business planning functionality.

The product claims to replace outdated, home-grown systems and generic call-reporting software with a complete CRM application that is fully integrated with primary and specialty care sales forces and marketing teams.

Users can access VBioPharma through any Web browser, and all updates are handled remotely.

Verticals onDemand claims this marks the first sale of VBioPharma and the first time an industry-specific CRM solution has been applied to such a specialized area of pharmaceuticals as managed markets.

Publicis will deploy VBioPharma to its managed markets account teams and will begin utilizing the VBioPharma CRM tool this summer. Publicis Managed Markets also will be working with Verticals onDemand to develop improvements to future versions of this application.

VBioPharma Managed Markets Edition is priced on a per-user/per-month basis.
