New Content Channel for RealPlayer

RealNetworks, Seattle, a provider of Internet media, have formed a marketing and programming agreement with electronic media marketing professionals Jim Cahill and Jim Atkinson.


The two own and operate Heat Seeking Multimedia, Santa Monica, CA.


In addition to the marketing deal, RealNetworks will collaborate with the two of them on development and distribution of an interactive programming channel within RealPlayer. RealNetwork's software engineering team will provide technical support.


The channel is intended to deliver new interactive content appealing to a range of demographics, including children, news junkies, baby boomers and gamers.
