Network Music Inks Deal to Market BMG Quick Hits

Network Music, San Diego, will market and sell BMG Special Products Quick Hits titles to corporate clients for use as premiums and incentives through an exclusive distribution agreement signed earlier this month.

Network will create and customize packages for clients requiring lower quantities -- orders as low as 500 units -- and offer them access to the BMG music catalog. This is the first such service in the premium industry for smaller projects, according to officials from both companies. BMG Special Products, a division of BMG Entertainment North America, New York, creates customized theme- and artist-based music compilations for the premiums and direct response markets. Network produces original music for the premiums and promotions markets.
