Netwhistle.com and Adfluence Introduce Cost Per Acquisition Banner Ads

Netwhistle.com, Sterling, VA, a managed service provider for Web device monitoring, and Adfluence launched yesterday a "cost per acquisition" banner advertisement.

The interactive banner ad allows users to visit the Netwhistle.com site while inside the banner without leaving the host site's page, using memory load comparable to traditional image banners.

The campaign produces a user cost per acquisition of under $1, compared to cost per user acquisitions above $20, the companies said.
