NetSuite Inc., a provider of on-demand business software, introduced a tracking and management offering for search engine marketing campaigns. Also, business-software provider Salesforce.com Inc. unveiled a service that allows its customers to create and manage Google Inc. search-engine marketing campaigns.

The NetSuite Keyword Marketing Module includes a search engine keyword campaign creation tool, keyword campaign management functionality and a host of pre-built reports to manage Google AdWords or Yahoo Sponsored Search more efficiently.

In essence, using NetSuite's order management and tracking right through to the final sales revenue is designed to help users gain a snapshot of what keyword spend produces at every sales stage. This includes leads generated per keyword, leads converted and revenue, profit and return on investment per keyword.

The NetSuite Keyword Marketing Module is available in the NetSuite and NetSuite CRM+ suites at no extra cost, according to the San Mateo, CA, company.

More detail is available on the site at NetSuite .

SalesForce announced its new product on Aug. 22.

Salesforce for Google AdWords is based on technology acquired from Kieden Corp., a startup that quietly developed it using Salesforce's AppExchange platform. San Francisco, CA-based Salesfocre.com acquired Kieden this month. Terms were not disclosed.

Salesforce.com said the tight integration delivered in Salesforce for Google AdWords provides visibility into the entire life-cycle of a campaign -- from creation and placement of ads, to tracking of results, management of opportunities, closing of deals and measurement of return on investment.
