BOSTON--Netizen Communications Inc., an Internet software company in San Jose, CA, introduced its Web-based direct mail system, dubbed ShoppingMail, at the catalog show here June 3.


ShoppingMail delivers e-mail catalog promotions that are tailored to a consumer's individual tastes. Consumers sign up by providing product preferences, favorite catalogs and other demographic information. The promotional messages can be delivered in all media -- text, images, HTML, audio, video and animation. If consumers want to see more of a cataloger's products, ShoppingMail provides links to the company's Web site.
