NetCreations to Name Cloninger President, COO
Opt-in e-mail marketing services provider NetCreations Inc. is expected today to name Tom Cloninger as the company's president and chief operating officer.He will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the New York-based firm and report directly to CEO Rosalind Resnick.
With 20 years of industry experience, Cloninger was most recently group executive with the Infobase division of customer data integration services provider Acxiom Corp. He will help NetCreations launch its new online and offline business-to-consumer compiled database business.
Cloninger said he was initially attracted to NetCreations because of its "innovative approach to direct marketing through its 100 percent opt-in e-mail marketing service."
