NetByTel, Boca Raton, FL, said yesterday that it completed the integration of UPS OnLine Tools into its suite of voice self-service applications, enabling e-tailers to deliver order shipment status to customers through voice-based solutions.

Walmart.com and Computers4Sure are among the first of NetByTel's retail clients to integrate the solution.

"Our clients are always looking for ways to better serve their customers while still reducing their overall operating costs," said Ken Jackowitz, senior vice president and chief customer officer at NetByTel. "In an increasingly competitive retail environment, a live agent's time is better spent on revenue-generating calls. By including UPS OnLine Tools in our offering, our clients can allow callers fast voice self-service access to their complete shipment status without tying up a live agent's time and without the caller ever having to wait on hold."

Along with shipment status, NetByTel's voice self-service applications include lead capture, name and address change, literature request and location finder.
