Net Loss Rises at Sedona

Sedona Corp., yesterday released unaudited results showing a first-quarter net loss of $3.9 million versus $1.6 million in the year-ago quarter.


Revenue was $441,000 and bookings were a record $545,000 for the first quarter, which ended March 31. The Web-based customer relationship management company also said sales backlog was at a record level of $1.18 million.


Operating expenses for the first quarter were $2.06 million. King of Prussia, PA-based Sedona said it has raised $1.6 million in equity funding from private investors and a strategic alliance partner since the quarter ended.
