Neiman Marcus Online will use Coremetrics Marketforce for Retail to track and analyze online customer and visitor behavior at its Neiman Marcus, Horchow and Chef's Catalog Web sites, Coremetrics, Burlingame, CA, said yesterday.

Coremetrics Marketforce for Retail uses patent-pending, browser-based technology to gather and store behavioral information from the visitor's browser. It records interactions in real time to build profiles used in Coremetrics Marketforce reporting and analysis.

"Coremetrics provides all of the key metrics required to better enable us to make business decisions about our site performance and user experiences," said Michael Crotty, vice president of marketing at Neiman Marcus Online. "In addition, Coremetrics works well within our infrastructure and didn't require us to change our development or merchandising processes in order to meet our customer needs."
