Neiman Marcus Launches '03 Christmas Book

Luxury retailer Neiman Marcus yesterday announced the launch of its annual Christmas Book catalog and its version online.


The 147-page catalog lists 503 items for the holidays. It goes to 2 million households in the United States and overseas.


The book makes an effort on some pages to offer normal gift choices for the rich -- a luxury fishing house, Louis Vuitton luggage, diamond ring, mermaid suit and BMW 645Ci Coupe.


For those with pockets deeper than usual and minds more open, there's a pair of his and her robots ($400,000 for the pair), Dodge Tomahawk ($555,000) and the staple, Bombardier Learjet ($7.7 million to $12.7 million).


The items also are available on www.neimanmarcus.com, the Irving, TX, retailer's flagship site.
