NCRI List Management Forms New Venture

NCRI List Management, Englewood Cliffs, NJ, has created a new division that will develop niche-based cooperative databases to give clients an opportunity to target prospects in a different environment. NCRI Ventures will be officially introduced at the DMA fall show in San Francisco.

The niche co-ops will be multisourced with house files from current NCRI clients and external data sources. The identity of contributors will remain confidential; but unlike larger co-ops that require a sharing of names to participate, NCRI will not impose use restrictions.

Sandra Julia, newly named president of NCRI Ventures, Buffalo, NY, considers the co-ops as compiled files since they will be compiled from four to five sources of mail order buyer information for each specific niche. Those niches will include both broad areas such as financial services, insurance and catalogs and more targeted ones like gardening.
