NBA Looks to Score With Fans Through Interactive Talk Show

The National Basketball Association will air its first professional sports league interactive talk show on its Web site, NBA.com, on Oct. 31 at 5 p.m.


The talk show, labeled The NBA Beat, will be broadcast live on NBA.com TV -- a DirecTV program -- and fed via streaming audio onto NBA.com weekdays from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.


The show will originate from the NBA Store in New York. It's talk-show format will enable fans to provide their perspective on basketball topics by calling NBA.com TV or sending e-mails to the site.


NBA.com TV anchors, including Ron Burke, Matt Devlin, Carlos Diaz and Dei Lynam, will host the program on a rotating basis. Guests of the show will include NBA coaches, players, general managers, league executives and members of the sports media.
