Naviant, Newton Square, PA, and Claritas, Arlington, VA, a provider of marketing information and target marketing services for companies engaged in consumer and business-to-business marketing, this week announced a cooperative marketing agreement that will expand both their precision target marketing offerings.

According to Naviant, the agreement will enable both companies to market the right product to the right consumer at the right time.

"Right now we have clients who are using our information and tools but that is in the strategy and discovery phase only," said Margie Lymperis, senior vice president of communications and energy group. "With Naviant we will be able to provide tools for the implementation and measurement phases for all customer touch points."

Through the agreement Naviant will also be using Claritas' technology and information as well.

"There is an increasing need for one-to-one marketing across both traditional sales channels and the Internet," said Bob Nascenzi, president of Claritas. "This partnership enables our clients to achieve closed-loop relationship marketing that capitalizes on every customer contact , particularly on the Internet. We look forward to leveraging this precision Web targeting solution for our clients."
