Naviant Buys Softbank Marketing Solutions

Naviant Inc., Newtown Square, PA, said yesterday it reached an agreement to acquire Softbank Marketing Solutions, which offers Web-based product-registration technology for hi-tech companies and online marketing solutions. Naviant, which maintains a database of 17 million Internet user households and provides marketing and customer relationship management services, said the purchase of SMS would enhance its ability to deliver Web-based value-added services. SMS, Boston, is a unit of Softbank Holdings Inc.
