Nationwide Credit Selects SoundBite for Collections

SoundBite Communications will provide interactive voice messaging technology for Nationwide Credit Inc. to use in its call centers for debt collections, SoundBite said yesterday.


Financial details of the contract were not disclosed.


SoundBite, Burlington, MA, will provide its SoundBite 5.0 for Collections platform to Nationwide Credit. The platform lets Nationwide Credit deliver automated, interactive messages to debtors and allows them to connect with a call center, resulting in prescreened, inbound calls to live agents.


Nationwide Credit, Kennesaw, GA, has 10 call centers and 1,500 agents. The company provides collections services for customers in retailing, financial services, automotive, consumer services, utilities, telecommunications and healthcare, as well as federal and state governments.
