National MS Society Chooses Convio
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society chose Convio to provide its enterprise-wide Internet solution. Convio, Austin, TX, is an application service provider to nonprofits, which use its Web platform to power donation pages on their sites, among other things.The National MS Society, New York, will use Convio at its headquarters and across its 50-state network of chapters for fundraising, e-mail communications, Web content management and e-commerce. It also will use Convio's TeamRaiser for online registration, donations and communications for 1,100 annual events including the MS Walk, MS Challenge Walk and MS 150 Cycling events.
The society also will use Convio Tributes to let donors build sites in memory of loved ones; Convio Advocacy to let donors communicate with lawmakers and other public officials; and Convio eCommerce, which powers online stores.
