National Geographic continues relationship with Epsilon

National Geographic Society has extended its marketing and retention contract with Epsilon to cover several more years.

Per the agreement, Epsilon will host and manage e-mail communications and provide database services for National Geographic Society through 2011. The two companies have been working together since 1997.

National Geographic Society publishes six magazines, including its 8.5 million-circulation flagship title. The company also reaches audiences through the National Geographic Channel, documentaries, radio programs, books, DVDs, maps and interactive media.

The goal with Epsilon is to increase customer loyalty to all properties and boost brand equity through direct marketing efforts.

Neither company could be reached for comment as of press time.
