National City Launches Online Banking for Small Businesses

National City Bank, Cleveland, has launched online banking services for its small-business customers.

The new service, which is labeled National City's Small Business Online Banking, can be accessed at www.ncb4bizonline.com. The service enables small businesses to review account activity, exchange e-mail messages with the bank's customer service center and pay bills online. The service also allows small businesses to provide select individuals with full or partial access to their accounts online.

The online banking service is free to all National City small-business customers that have a business checking account with the institution. The online bill payment option is offered for a free 90-day trial period, after which it is priced at $5.95 per month. The flat fee includes 25 bill payments, and additional payments are 50 cents each.
