N5R Personalizes Web Address With MySite

Canadian interactive agency N5R introduced MySite, a product that uses dynamic segmentation technology to give each end user a unique experience with a Web site based on the individual's needs.


MySite lets marketers create a personalized site for consumers based on segmentation survey information sought from the target audience. A typical MySite campaign leads to the creation of locations such as www.johndoe.funnymoney.com.


"Most people have never had a Web site built for them," N5R president/CEO Roman Bodnarchuk said from Toronto. "As soon as they've seen a Web site built for them by the brand, they're piqued by that."


N5R's technology allows the creation not just of personalized Web addresses, but also greetings by name, live Webcams and video feeds, graphics and other content. Users include Hilton, Abbott Labs and the Toronto Star newspaper for consumer campaigns, and Ford Motor for business-to-business.
