MyPoints, Dai Nippon Form Japanese Marketing Venture

MyPoints.com and Japan-based Dai Nippon Printing yesterday formed a venture to develop a Japanese version of MyPoint's Internet marketing program for the Japanese market.


Specific terms were not released.


MyPoint plans to generate revenue through licensing and development fees for its technology, trademarks and Internet marketing protocol.


Dai Nippon, which provides direct marketing services, including direct mail, point card systems and printing and promotional materials, will leverage its nationwide sales force and client base of direct marketers for the venture.
