Myers Resigns as ERA President/CEO
Elissa Matulis Myers, president/CEO of the Electronic Retailing Association, resigned from her position, the ERA said today.Myers left to tend to her mother, who is in ill health, said Sigi Friedman, special assistant to the president/CEO of the ERA. The ERA is preparing to issue a statement pending the closure of negotiations to finalize Myers' departure.
Myers did not immediately respond to phone calls today. Barbara Tulipane, ERA executive vice president, has assumed the position of interim CEO, Friedman said.
