MyCounsel.com Lands Slot at Staples.com
MyCounsel.com, an Internet legal services stand-alone, has begun offering its services at Staples.com's Legal & Insurance channel.To promote the venture, MyCounsel is offering a $100 rebate on business contract reviews, which the company offers for $150. Other legal services being offered by MyCounsel at Staples.com include commercial lease reviews for $250 and small-business consultations for $75.
MyCounsel, Boston, said it would roll out other business-oriented legal services at Staples.com this year, including a package complete with articles of incorporation, bylaws, minutes and stock certificates for $300, and responses to legal notices and debt collection letters for $150 each.
In addition, the services are offered to consumers for slightly lower prices. Staples, Framingham, MA, said the flat-fee nature of the services would attract small-business owners and consumers looking for consistent pricing for their legal needs.
Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
