Mutual of Omaha Estimates $1M Savings With Database Solution

KnowledgeBase Marketing Inc., Richardson, TX, a Wunderman company, said yesterday that Mutual of Omaha estimates that it saved more than $1 million last year from reduced package costs, lower list costs and other improvements after turning over its list-processing services to KnowledgeBase Marketing.

Mutual of Omaha provides insurance and financial services products for individuals, businesses and groups nationwide. Mutual of Omaha and its affiliate companies manage assets in excess of $15 billion.

This year, KnowledgeBase Marketing will support Mutual of Omaha's annual processing of 35 first-party mailings and more than 250 third-party campaigns to Mutual of Omaha's partner companies' membership base.

Mutual of Omaha also said it selected the company's Impact database marketing solution to manage its prospecting. The solution replaces Mutual of Omaha's existing systems and is expected to let the company reduce acquisition costs and gain analytical knowledge for improved prospect marketing.
