Musicmaker.com Inks Death Row Records Deal

Musicmaker.com, New York, said yesterday it signed a three-year licensing agreement with Death Row Records. The online music marketer will have a "first look" right to future releases and older songs by Death Row artists such as Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and 2Pac.

Musicmaker offers its library of music for customizable CDs and for direct download. The company has recently made agreements with EMI Recorded Music and Zomba Music Group.

The deal with Death Row allows Musicmaker.com to offer both recordings on customizable CDs and personal downloads. Musicmaker can offer Zomba and EMI artists only on customizable CDs.
