Murphy to Oversee Online Initiatives at DM News

Patrick Murphy has joined DM News and iMarketing News publisher Mill Hollow Corp. as executive producer, Internet media. Previously, he was editor of online services at The New York Times Co. Magazine Group and spent 20 years with TV Guide.


While with the Times magazine group, Murphy helped launch and operate seven Web sites, including golf.com, tennis.com and sailingworld.com. At TV Guide, he was executive editor, managing the editorial departments and providing direction for TV Guide Online, a proprietary dial-up system.


Among his duties at DM News, Murphy will focus on the expansion of the company's existing Web site for direct marketers and Internet marketers, dmnews.com, and will develop new and related Web sites, e-mail newsletters, joint ventures, partnerships and other online initiatives that leverage the company's established brands and core competencies.
