Clearly this year's group of finalists and winners has shown their ability to be multitalented. With so many changes in our industry, the economy and the world, everyone is being asked to do more with less in more disciplines. Plus we needed to figure out how to become social.

We were not let down this year. Your creative solutions to tough marketing problems are some of the most innovative we've ever seen. During the judging, you could hear “wow,” “how'd they do that” and “what a great idea” commentary throughout the process.

However, that does not mean winning a Caples Award this year was easy. To win, each entry went through a rigorous review by 12 of the world's top creative minds. This esteemed group had to decide that it was not just great, but superb.

Every finalist deserves a pat on the back. To get this far is a credit to you and your creative abilities.

Congratulations to the winners. There is no greater honor in direct marketing than winning a Caples Award.
