Sprint Supports Bloomingdale's By Mail Call Centers
Under the contract, Sprint will become the primary telecommunications provider for Federated's Bloomingdale's mail-order call centers, handling 1 million minutes of voice conversation annually. Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Among the new services Sprint will provide Federated is a routing system for incoming calls to Bloomingdale's toll-free numbers that routes calls based on call volume, time of day, week or year and the caller's phone number. In addition, Sprint already provides audio conferencing, high-speed data services and international voice service for Federated.
