Primary Knowledge, to Combine Campaign Services

Primary Knowledge, New York, and, Palo Alto, CA, are expected to announce today plans for a partnership that would provide joint clients with optimization tools to measure their e-mail campaigns.

The partnership allows for the direct integration of campaign response data from with the data warehouse functions of Primary Knowledge. Prior to this arrangement, joint clients were responsible for taking the e-mail results to the data management and analysis firm.

The direct partnership will enable clients of's e-mail services to target e-mail campaigns by generating lists according to preferences established by the Primary Knowledge data marts, according to both firms. Those data marts measure click stream, transactional and other online behavior.

"Our main objective in partnering with Primary Knowledge is to further improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our clients' personalized, permission-based e-mail campaigns," said CEO Anand Jagannathan.
